Obituary of Troy Douglas Karan

Troy Douglas Karan, 47, of Lynchburg, died Wednesday January 30, 2019.

Troy is survived by his wife, Sheri Karan of Lynchburg, VA; his daughter, Lyndsay O’Neill and husband Matthew of Ocean City, DE; his son Jeremy (Jeremiah) Karan, serving in the U.S. Airforce and stationed in Japan; his granddaughter, Harper O’Neill; his grandson, Jackson O’Neill; his parents Douglas and Lois Karan of Evington, VA; his sister Shelly Collins and husband David of Westminster, MD; his sister in law, Robin Racey and her husband Charlie of Wrightsville, PA; his nieces Lindsay Longnecker and husband Dylan, Jansen Collins, Taylor Collins, Amanda Karan & Brieanna Racey; his nephews, Adrian Burns, Noah Racey & Mark Karan and his much loved dog, Cinder.

Troy was preceded in death by his brother Mark Travis Karan.

Troy was employed by Starbucks as a Maintenance Mechanic for almost 16 years. He enjoyed hiking, running, biking and being outdoors.

A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 20957 Timberlake Rd. Lynchburg, VA, 24502 on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
