Obituary of Benjamin Lee Friar

Benjamin Lee Friar, 32, of Forest passed away on Wednesday night November 28, 2018. Ben was born on December 16th, 1985 at Virginia Baptist Hospital in Lynchburg, Virginia.

He worked as a realtor for Keller Williams Realty and was an occasional SPCA dog walker.Ben was a graduate of Virginia Tech with a major in geography. He was a life-long Hokie fan, beloved by his eighteen cousins and his three nephews; who all loved wrestling with Uncle Ben. 

He is survived by his parents Tina and Ed Friar of Concord, Virginia and his siblings Kate Gehle Friar of Lynchburg, Virginia and Jon Friar of Baltimore, Maryland. 

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 8 2018, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. with Monsignor Michael McCarron officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service in the church fellowship hall.
