Obituary of Tommy Bradley

Tommy Wayne Bradley, 51, of Rustburg passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at his residence. Born in Danville on May 3, 1961 he was the son of Tommie Odell Bradley and Charlotte Smith Bradley of Evington. Tommy was a graduate of Brookville High School. Tommy?s grandfather, Rev. Bradley, was the minister of Southhall Baptist Church in Danville where Tommy was a member and accepted Christ at a young age. He attended Thomas Road Baptist Church. Tommy worked with his dad at Bradley Vinyl Supply Co. Tommy had many interests including roller skating where he entered many competitions and won many trophy?s. Tommy also was an avid equestrian having competed in many shows. Tommy never met a stranger he did not like and was a friend to many. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Nicole ?Nicki? Bradley Milton of Florida and her son, Preston. A sister, Pamela Barker and her husband, Vern of Vero Beach, FL. Three aunts, Dorothy Todd, Peggy Howerton and her husband, Wayne, and Joanne Yeatts and her husband, Frank all of Danville. Two uncles, Ronald Wilson and his wife, Elizabeth and Abe Wilson and his wife, Louise all of Wilson, SC. Tommy is also survived by his most loving and special friend, Rachel Mann of Evington and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Tommy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Wilson, Jr. , his paternal grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. W. C. Bradley and by a uncle, William Wayne Wilson. A Celebration of Tommy?s Life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, September 29, 2012 in the Pate Chapel of Thomas Road Baptist Church with Pastor Jonathan Falwell and Pastor Darryl Martin officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM at Highland Burial Park in Danville. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday, September 28, 2012 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel.
