Obituary of Alice Arranga Lee

ALICE ARRANGA LEE Alice Arranga Lee, 77, of Bedford, VA and formerly of New York City, Syracuse, NY, and Albuquerque, NM, died Friday, June 7, 2013 at Bedford County Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late George Albert Lee, and daughter of the late Warren Joseph Hughto and Cora Alice Lacombe Hughto. Mrs. Lee was born April 21, 1936, in Gouverneur, NY. She attended Syracuse University and was an avid reader and rare book collector, an art aficionado, and a jazz enthusiast. She is survived by her son, Brian Arranga and his wife, Amy of Forest, VA; three grandchildren, Arden, Max, and Finn Arranga of Forest; two step-daughters, Sandra Blake and husband, Coleman, of Raleigh, NC and Glenda Smith and husband, Larry, of Carmel, CA; five step-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren; five brothers and two sisters; several nieces and nephews including Karen Burns and her husband, Kent, both of Forest; and her closest friend, Mae Bouffard of Pueblo, CO.
