DORIS MARIE DUNCAN MOSELEY Doris Marie Duncan Moseley, 83, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, January 6, 2014 Born in Scottsville in Buckingham County on August 29, 1930 she was a daughter of the late Robert Franklin Duncan and Tressie Coleman Duncan and was the wife of Terrell D. Moseley. Mrs. Moseley was a graduate of Boonsboro High School, A member of Centenary United Methodist Church, a secretary with the Retail Merchants Association, the Lynchburg Gas Co. and the corporate secretary at Terrell E. Moseley, Inc. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, David Dillon Moseley and his wife, Helen Moseley. A daughter, Katheryn Moseley Brown and her husband, Hampton Brown. Three grandchildren, Elizabeth Terrell Graham and her husband, Jeff, Joseph Dillon Moseley and Jamie Moseley Quaintance and her husband, Matt. Two great grandchildren, Caroline Abigail Graham and Clarkson Shane Moseley. Sisters, Elizabeth Duncan Snell and her husband, Richard L., Phyllis Duncan Thomasson and her husband, Bill. A sister-in-law, Jane Moseley Parrish and her husband, Arthur and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Myrtle Duncan Columbus and Shirley Duncan Hobbs. A Celebration of Doris' Life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Centenary United Methodist Church with Pastor Richard H. Ecklund Officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be private.
