We are very sorry for the loss of this very sweet and talented woman. Our sister Marion married into this wonderful family over 30 years ago and Ruby became her second mother. Ruby was a loving mother to our fabulous brother in law Randy, and a loving grandmother to our beautiful nieces, Abby & Savannah. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Viar family.

Dear Neal and family,
We are so very sorry for your loss. Dave and I had the privilege of knowing Ruby for all the years that my sister Marion has been a part of the large, loving, wonderful Viar family. Ruby was always the firecracker that kept things hopping! We loved her dry wit and wonderful sense of humor. She was devoted to her loving husband and to her children and their families. Ruby loved her grandkids and with good reason! They adored her, too! For most of my own children's youths, they did not realize that their cousins Savannah and Abby's grandmother and grandfather were actually two separate people named Bubba and Nana -- my kids always thought of them as Savannah and Abby's BuNanna! We hope that the many wonderful memories you have of incredible Ruby comfort you now. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
With deepest sympathy,
Chris & David Griffin

The Matthews family would like to share with others as we express our sadness for Ruby's passing. She loved her family, church and the many moments of playing her piano. We hope that the piano stays in the family where many more moments of memory making will occur.

Ruby was the warm hug that welcomed everyone the same, the most affectionate of souls that made you feel as if everything was going to be ok. She was spirited and talented and happy and funny, kept everyone together and will be missed beyond words. Her legacy is her beautiful family that gave to her what she had always given them: Themselves. Too many memories to mention and they are all good!
May peace be with you all

Ruby and I had lots of talks at Church; Brookville High School and just in passing.
