Obituary of Mundy Ivey

Putnam Mundy Ivey Putnam Mundy Ivey died Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Westminster Canterbury, in the Drinkard Health Center. Putnam was born on May 10, 1921, the daughter of the late William Starke Mundy and Ella Kyle Mundy. She attended Lynchburg public schools and graduated from Randolph Macon Woman's College. She was an owner of Montaldo's Dress Shop and later The Columns Interiors. Putnam was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, a past member of The Junior League and The Lynchburg Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kean Ivey, Sr. and a daughter, Katharine Ann Ivey. She is survived by a son, Robert Kean Ivey, Jr. of Afton and his wife, Lucy, and a daughter, Ella Ivey Marks of Lynchburg and her husband, David; 5 grandchildren, Putnam Ivey and Kean Ivey III, Neil Marks and partner Doak Sergent, Kean Marks and his wife, Paige and Will Marks and a great granddaughter Louisa Marks- Sergent. A graveside service will be conducted at Spring Hill Cemetery, Tuesday at 11am with the Rev. Michael Sullivan officiating.
