Obituary of Barbara Toler Taylor

Barbara Mae Toler Taylor, 93, of Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at her home. She was the wife of the late Randolph "Jack" Lee Taylor.
Born August 17, 1930 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of the late Omer Massie and Kitty Kennedy Toler.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a long-tme member of Beulah Baptist Church where she worked with the young children for a number of years. Barbara was also a member of the "Red Hat" Society.
She is survived by one daughter Patricia "Pat" T. Gale (Kirk) and one son, Bradford L. Taylor, all of Forest; one brother, William M. Toler (Emily) of Lynchburg; two grandchildren, Lori G. Dees (Shawn), and Julie G. Papperman (Shaun); four great-grandchildren, Justice M. Dees, Kayla N. Dees, Mark R. Papperman and Ashley R. Papperman and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Wednesday from 12 noon to 12:45 p.m. before the service which will follow at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 officiated by Pastor Dennis Hollandsworth. Interment will be in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to Beulah Baptist Church.
