Obituary of Arlen Gladstone Hudson

    Mr.  Arlen  G.  Hudson,  92,  of  Forest,  Virginia  passed  away

8 December 2023,  at  Forest Health and Rehab.    He  was  the  husband  of 

Treva  D.  Hudson.    

    Mr.  Hudson  was  born  July  1,  1931  in  Mount  Olive,  N.C.,  son  of  the  late 

Joe  L.  and  Gladys  M.  Hudson.    He  was    a  veteran  of  the  U.S.  Air  Force,  a 

graduate  of  N.C.  State  College  with  a  B.S.  degree  in  Electrical  Engineering, 

and  was  retired,  after  thirty-four  years  continuous  service  with  the  General 

Electric  Company.

    He  was  pre-deceased  by  both  parents,  his  wife  Treva  D.  Hudson, a brother Reginald A. Hudson  and  his stepsons,  Stephen  C.  O’Brien and Danny L O’Brien.

    He  is  survived  by,  one  son,  Gary  L.  Hudson (Tangie)  of  Forest,  Va.,  one  stepson, 

Micheal  E.  O’Brien (Pearlie)  of  High  Point,  N.C.,  and  eighteen   

grandchildren.

    The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8 PM at Diuguid Waterlich Chapel

A graveside   service  will  be  held  Friday, December 15, 2023 in  Fort Hill Memorial Park.

    In leiu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project , American Cancer Society or Forest Health & Rehab.
