Obituary of Kimberly Anne Meade

Kimberly Anne Meade, 61, of Forest, VA passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 2, 2023. She was surrounded by loved ones as she entered heaven.

Born February 1, 1962 in Lynchburg, VA, Kim was a twin daughter of the late Ruth Pillow and Dennis Reid Dudley.

Those left to cherish Kim’s memory are: her best friend and husband of 30 years William Hart Meade; her brother Conrad Dudley (Netta P. Dudley), and twin sister Kathy Dudley McCann (Michael McCann); daughter Whitney L. Meade and her husband Fernando A. Pimienta of Charlottesville, VA; and daughter Karley Meade and partner Phillip A. Milton of Forest, VA. Kim is also survived by the loves of her life—her granddaughter Elly Meade-Cooper and her grandson Gabriel Pimienta. She had four special nephews who meant the world to her.

Kim’s family was her everything. Her two daughters were the light of her life and her two grandchildren, the sparkle of her eye. Her greatest joy in life was to see them happy.

Kim had an infectious spirit and a heart full of laughter. Her favorite pastime was spending time with friends, where she often took center stage as the life of the party. Her sense of humor and relatability endeared her to all who knew her.

For over 30 years, Kim dedicated herself to her career at Verizon, displaying unwavering loyalty and commitment. She was set to retire the Friday before her passing, a testament to her dedication. Kim's professional integrity mirrored her character, and her absence will leave a void that is deeply felt.

Kimberly Anne Meade's memory will forever be cherished in our hearts. Her love, laughter, and vibrant spirit will continue to inspire us. She will be remembered as a caring wife, a devoted mother, a loving sister, a doting grandmother, and a loyal friend.
