Obituary of Shirley G. Seay

Shirley Ann Grubbs Seay, 72, of Forest died Monday, November 24, 2008 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born in Lynchburg on June 28, 1936 she was a daughter of the late Ernest Rubin Grubbs and Lilly Irene Griffin Grubbs and was the wife of Allen D. Seay. Mrs. Seay retired from the medical records department at Lynchburg General Hospital and was a member of Timberlake Christian Church. In addition to her husband, Allen of 52 years, Shirley is survived by a daughter, Michele S. Jenkins and her husband, Michael of Lynchburg. A son, Michael A. Seay and his wife, Lisa of Rustburg. Five grandchildren. Two sisters, Jean Hogan and Ioma Hall. She is also survived by three close and dear friends, WD, Judy and Wendy. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 PM Friday, November 28, 2008 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel, Timberlake Rd.
