Obituary of Ada Elliott
Ada Roberts Elliott, 90, of Concord
passed away Wednesday, November 26,
2008 in Lynchburg General
Hospital. She was the wife of the
late Curtis Lee "Bill" Elliott.
Born October 7,
1918 in Lynchburg she
was the daughter of the late Victor VanBuren and Alice Fay Bryant Elliott. She
was a retired employee of J. C. Penny and a member of Timberlake Christian
Church.
Mrs. Elliott is survived by her son, William C. "Bill"
Elliott of Concord; Three
daughters, Gayle E. Huffman and husband Ken of Harrisonburg, Janice E. Garrett
and husband Bobby of Appomattox and Diane E. Foster and husband Sonny of
Lynchburg; 8 grandchildren, Jeffery Garrett, Michael Garrett, Kevin Foster,
Keith Foster, Kendall Foster, Jennifer Elliott, Greg Huffman and Susan H.
Kinter-Jenkins; 11 great grandchildren and a wonderful friend Ruth Somers.
A graveside service will be held Friday, 12:00 noon in Fort
Hill Memorial Park
with the Rev. Bob Moody officiating. Diuguid Wiggington Chapel is in charge of
arrangements.
The family will be at the home of Diane and Sonny Foster.
