Obituary of Dwayne Preston Tyree

Dwayne Preston Tyree, 58, of Lynchburg, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Dwayne was a member of Clearview Baptist Church, Rustburg. He was an ordained minister and enjoyed sharing the word of God through preaching the Gospel and song. He was the loving husband of 35 years to Susan Mills Tyree. He was survived by his daughter, Jacqueline Tyree Paul and husband Dylan; his grandson, Robert Jaxon Paul; his parents, Jack and Jean Tyree; two brothers, Steve Tyree and wife Michele and Kevin Tyree and wife Mary June. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Clearview Baptist Church, 2183 Sunnymeade Rd. Rustburg, VA 24588. Relatives and friends are welcome for visitation on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8 pm at Diuguid Funeral Service & Crematory, Waterlick Chapel (434) 237-2722. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
