Obituary of Sarah Anna Mason Crist Ranson

Sarah Crist Ranson, 24, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 4th, at her home. She was the wife of Chad Ranson and the mother of two children, Willow Grace Crist and Cole Gilliam Ranson. Born April 18, 1993, Sarah is survived by her parents, Dr. Frank C. Crist, Jr. and Christine Crist, birth mother Renee Carroll, brothers Frank and Jason Crist, sisters Faith Crist-Novak and husband Jason, and Michele Harvey and husband, Rick, niece Grace Novak and nephew Ethan Novak, her mother and father-in-law, Beverly and Charles Ranson, uncle Warren K. Crist and wife, Shelby, cousins Dr. Carrington Crawford and wife Joanie and Dr. Holly Crist Capps and husband Tom. Sarah expressed herself creatively in many ways. She was a gifted writer and found joy in bringing her words to life on paper. Truly a girlie girl, she loved fashion, playing with hair and makeup, doing her nails and posing for the camera. Her sense of humor was unique and fun, polished off by her absolute transparency. If you wanted to know something, just ask. She would tell you, and she would make you laugh when she did. Throughout Sarah's life, she was blessed to experience the joy of seeing many beautiful places. She traveled extensively in the Caribbean, the United States, Italy and spent a great deal of time in Hilton Head and Myrtle Beach. She appreciated nature and creation, loved theater, good food and especially, music. The family will hold a private service and burial.
