Obituary of JoAnn Anderson

JoAnn Rowles Anderson, 68, of Lynchburg died Sunday, October 28, 2007 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. Born in Richmond on February 26, 1939 she was a daughter of Oscar Rowles and Mildred Powell Rowles. Mrs. Anderson was a retired office manager for Courtland Manufacturing. She is survived by a son, Stephen R. Anderson and his wife, Jacquie of Forest. A daughter, Kelli M. Franco and her husband, Jim of Raleigh, NC. A grandson, John M. Franco of Raleigh, NC. A sister, Beatrice R. Miller of Lynchburg. Several nieces and a nephew. JoAnn was preceded in death by a son, David M. Anderson. A celebration of JoAnn's life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, November 2, 2007 at Park View United Methodist Church with the Rev. Phillip Showers officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 PM Thursday at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel. The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
