Obituary of Ronals Smith

Ronald Gaylord Smith, 68, of Lynchburg, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2007 in Lynchbugr General Hospital. He was the husband of Ruby Marie Bane Smith. Born November 24, 1939, in Lynchbugr, he was the son of the late aTerrell Veldon SMith and Dorothy Clark Smith. Ron was retired as electrician with R.R. Donnelly Printing Co.. In addition to his wife, Ron is survived by two daughters, Teresa Lynn Moore and her husband Jeff, of Piney River and Kimberly Sue Krohn and her husband Jeff of Moorehead City, NC; one sister, Marlene Snipes of Newton, NC; five half brothers, David Tucker, Randy Tucker, Ricky Tucker, Jeff Tucker and Johnny Tucker; one half sister, Linda Murphy; three grandchildren, Robert Kyle Byrum, Matthew William Moore andEmily Paige Krohn. He was preceded in death by one granson, Jeffrey Lane Moore, Jr. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December15, 2007 at 1:00 PM in Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with the Rev. Steve Amburgey officiating. The family will revieve friends Friday from 7-8:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Virginia Memorial Park.
