Obituary of Kathy Wilder Horne

Kathy Jean Wilder Horne, 54, of Altavista died Sunday, February 3, 2008 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born in Pineville, KY on January 3, 1954 she was a daughter of Eugene Wilder of Lynchburg and the late Della Rose Wilder and was the loving wife of Robert Steve Horne. In addition to her husband and father she is survived by two sons, Rob Horne and his wife, Autumn of Lynchburg and Ryan Horne and his wife, Lyndsay of Goode. A daughter, Katie H. Johns of Rustburg. Two brothers, Kenny Wilder and his wife, Cheryl of Campbell County and Danny Wilder and his wife, Jill of Bedford County. Three Grandchildren, Megan Johns, Carmen Horne and Alyson Horne and one grandchild who will be a blessing in April, Landon Horne. A celebration of Kathy's life will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel, 237-2722, with the Rev. David Cobb officiating. Interment will follow in Altavista Memorial Park. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 8:30 PM at the funeral home.
