Obituary of Vivian Robey Gaddy

Vivian Mae Robey Gaddy, 76, of Lynchburg, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2008 in Virginia Baptist Hospital. She was the widow of James Earl Gaddy, Sr. Born September 5, 1931 in Lynchburg, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence H and Lola F. Carter Gaddy. Mrs. Gaddy was homemaker and a member of Whites Memorial United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, James Earl Gaddy, Jr. and his wife Nita of Lynchburg and David Lee Gaddy of Forest; one daughter Betty Jean Gaddy of Lynchburg; one brother, Ronnie Robey and his wife Judy of Bedford ; one sister, Linda Hillsman of Elon; two grandchildren, Lynn Evans and Chrystal Gaddy of Richmond and one great-grandchild, Heather Kanode of Raleigh, NC. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Gaddy and one sister, Faye Dawson. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 25, 2008 in Fort Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 7-8:30 PM at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel and at other times at the home of her sister, Linda Hillsman, 171 Elon Rd, Madison Heights, VA.
