Obituary of Dylan Brewer

Dylan Craig Brewer, 19, of 990 Timberlake Drive, Lynchburg, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 12, 2008 at his home. He was born September 23, 1988 and was deeply loved by his parents, Joseph Craig Brewer and Cathy Estep Brewer; his brothers, Blake Estep Brewer and Colby Joseph Brewer; his paternal grandparents, Paul Worth Brewer and Peggy Lassister Brewer; his maternal grandparents, Ted Wesley Estep and Charlotte Clark Estep; his faithful and loving caregiver, Karen Louise Novak; his dedicated special education teacher, Terri Lynn Pultz; a host of aunts and uncles, cousins and many kind friends. Dylan happily attended Rustburg High School and was a member of Timberlake Christian Church. His lifelong struggle with a severe seizure disorder and autism caused him incredibly hard life challenges, however, he continued on with amazing endurance. Dylan will be remembered for his gentle spirit and the love, patience and compassion he unknowingly bestowed upon the hearts of all who knew and loved him. We love you Dylan and will miss you so much. The family would like to thanks everyone who helped Dylan and gave of themselves in so many positive ways and to all of you who have surrounded us with love and support at this difficult time. A celebration of Dylan's life will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 3:00 PM in Timberlake Christian Church (20261 Lynchburg Highway-2.5 miles past Waterlick Plaza) with the Rev. Bob Mooty officiating. A reception and gathering will follow the service in the church fellowship hall. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-7:30 PM at the church and at other times at the residence. Diuguid Funeral Service- Waterlick Chapel ( 237-2722) is serving the family.
