Obituary of Doris Brown MacIntyre

Doris Brown MacIntyre, 99, of Lynchburg, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023, at Heritage Green. She was the wife of the late John Leslie MacIntyre. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Irvin Walter Brown and Margaret Bartholmew Brown. She was a member of Rivermont Evangelical Presbyterian Church. 

She is survived by one daughter, Peggy MacIntyre, of Lynchburg; two grandchildren, Tony Day (Cheryl) and Rebecca Swint; one great grandchild, Alexander Day. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Leslie MacIntyre. 

A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with Rev. Ron Cox officiating. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park in Glen Mills, PA. at a later date.
