Obituary of William Phillip Arthur

William Phillip Arthur, 66, of Evington, VA, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Lynchburg General Hospital after an extended illness. He was the husband of Pamela "Pam" Johnson Arthur.
Born October 26, 1956, in Bedford, he was a son of the late James Calvin Arthur and Dorothy Moran Arthur. He was a member of Blue Ridge Community Church and retired from V.E.S. School. He loved the beach and was a big fan of the Washington Redskins. He also loved his dog "Ginger" very much.
In addition to his wife, Pam, he is survived by three daughters, Christine Marie Arthur, Mary Arthur and Teresa Ann Hurt; one brother, David Calvin Arthur; one sister, Kathy Arthur Cobb and her husband, Barry; one granddaughter, J'Anna Carter and one great grandson, Ace James Jodway.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel. Interment will be private in Spring Hill Cemetery.
