Obituary of James Robert Hill, Jr.

James Robert Hill, Jr., 90, of Gladys, VA passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Faye Hill. Born May 1, 1931, in Virginia City, Wise County, VA, he was the son of the late James Robert and Maude Alice Hill. He was a retired electrician and served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his son, Michael Steven Hill (Charlotte) of Lynchburg, VA and one daughter, Pamela H. Riddle (Marshall) of Lynchburg, VA. He is also survived by grandchildren, Heather Henson, Jason Riddle and Sara Riddle as well as great-granddaughter Jamie West. There will be private service at a later date. Diuguid Wiggington Road Chapel, 385-8900, is serving the family.
