Obituary of Helen Diane Cole

Helen Diane Mauk Cole, 74, of Evington, VA, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at her home after an extended illness.

Born December 15, 1945 in Surgoinsville, TN, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd Gardner and Juanita Ruth Mallet Mauk. She was retired from both G.E. and Glad Manufacturing. She loved to garden and visit her home on Smith Mountain Lake where she had many special friends.

She is survived by one daughter, Kim W. Goff her husband, Tim of Forest; one son Mark Ward of Lynchburg; one brother Roger Mauk and his wife, Geraldine, of Surgoinsville, TN; two sisters, Pam Johnston and her husband, Ken, of Lake Mary, FL and LaDonna Lawson  and her husband, Gary, of Church Hill, TN; three grandchildren, Jacob Goff, Cheyenne Ward and Chloe Cole. She was preceded in death by one son, Benji Cole and one brother, Steve Mauk.

Per Diane’s request, there will be no formal service.
