Dan,
I got to know your Father thru my Husband, LaVerne Stark, with the American Legion Post.
He would always sit with us at the table when the Post had a dinner for special occasions.
We would see him collecting for money for the Salvation Army as a bell ringer and we chat again.
He and my Husband would talk about the blood donations that they both gave too.
It was always a pleasure to sit and talk with him. I will miss seeing him now.
My Husband would always ask about Eugene at the Post and then let me know how he was doing. We both wanted to
see him at the hospital to show we cared about him. However, it was advised to us that may upset him if he
was not doing well.
Your Father was always nice to me (and us).
It will be difficult for LaVerne to not remember the day your Father went down at a Funeral Service they
both were doing for the Honor Guard. Luckily LaVerne could give them your name for contacting you when he
got hurt.
Blessing to you and your family,
Linda and LaVerne Stark
