Obituary of Nancy Jane Rosenberger

Nancy Jane Thompson Rosenberger, 89 of Lynchburg, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019, at her home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Louise Thompson, her husband Raymond Rosenberger and her brother George Thompson.  Nancy is survived by two daughters, Karen Hayden of Lynchburg, Lou Ann Bragg (Gary) of Mechanicsville, MD; six grandchildren, Brandon Hayden, Austin Hayden, Katie Hayden, Valerie Bragg, Krissy Ruehl (Gerald), Kevin Bragg and one great-grandchild, Avery Ruehl.

Nancy graduated from E.C. Glass High School and then worked for Campbell Insurance. She and her husband Raymond moved to Maryland where she worked for the Prince Georges County School System until her retirement. The couple moved back to Lynchburg where Nancy volunteered for the Red Cross and enjoyed going to the “YMCA”. Nancy was a great mother and grandmother and loved going to the beach.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Spring Hill Cemetery, 3000 Fort Ave., Lynchburg.  Relatives and friends are welcome for a time of visitation on Friday, June 7, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Diuguid Funeral Service & Crematory, Wiggington Rd.
