A couple of moves and two more children found them relocating to Richmond, Va., where their last child, Pam, was born. Loomis worked for several companies, eventually deciding to work for AMF. When AMF closed their doors in 1977, Loomis and family relocated to Forest, where Loomis worked for Limitorque (now Flow Serve), until his retirement in 1992. Loomis and Ruth are members of Forest Community Church (formerly The Kirk). Loomis enjoyed his retirement years, traveling to visit many different family members, joining his wife in genealogy research, and spending time with his adult children.
