Obituary of Dale Everton Stucke

Dale Everton Stucke of Lynchburg, Virginia, passed away on January 24th at age 66 after a 10 year battle with breast cancer. Born on December 18th 1952 and raised in Troy, NY she was the daughter of the late Donald R Everton and Beverly Hughes Everton. She was predeceased by her brother Dean C. Everton of Troy, NY. She is survived by her husband of 36 years Gary L. Stucke of Lynchburg, her children Amanda S. Ordemann and her husband Andy of Fort Mill, SC, Alyssa S. Wassum and her husband Daniel of Richmond, VA, and Adam Stucke of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by her devoted sister Dawn Everton of Lynchburg, VA and grandson Hudson Ordemann. She was a graduate of Troy High School and Mary Washington College class of 1975. She worked as a server at Red Lobster for 20+ years.

Dale was passionate about her family, but she also enjoyed flower arranging, home decorating, painting, and cooking. She loved family vacations especially to the beach. Her favorite time of year was Christmas where she loved decorating her home and hosting family and friends. Dale was the most kind and giving person and will be remembered and missed by all that knew her.

The family will receive friends on Monday January 28th from 2-5 pm at the funeral home. A service will be held directly after in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a cancer charity of your choice or to the Alan B. Pearson Regional Cancer Center of Lynchburg.
