Obituary of Jeanne Pugh Ramsey

Jeanne Pugh Ramsey, 91, formerly of Lynchburg, passed away, Friday, December 7, 2018, at South Roanoke Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for several years.

She was born June 18, 1927, to the late Hugh and Annie Pugh in Charlotte County, VA.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband Harold Ramsey; her grandson, Tyler Coyer and her siblings, Ryland Pugh, Esther Wheeler and Katherine Wilkinson. She is survived by her two daughters, Diane Coyer and Donna Ramsey; a grandson, Chase Coyer (Katie) and several great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018, at 12:00 noon, at Diuguid Funeral Service & Crematory, Waterlick Chapel.  Relatives and friends are welcome on Friday at the chapel, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. Private family burial will be in Fort Hill Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the charity of one’s choice.
