Irene Kennon M. Overstreet

Irene Kennon Overstreet, 96, of Lynchburg, died Saturday, October 6, 2018 at her residence.  She was the widow of Landon Lewis Overstreet.

She was born in Lynchburg, April 9, 1922, to the late Robert  James Kennon and Cora Nichols Kennon.  She was retired from General Electric and a member of Timberlake United Methodist Church.

Left to cherish her memories are sons; Larry C. Miller(Sandra) Michael K. Miller; daughters Andrea D. Miller, Karen Sue Miller, all of Lynchburg; step-daughter Linda Harvey (Jim) of Marietta, Ga., grandsons, Clint (Jamie) Jared and Jake Miller; a step-grandson, Jimmy Harvey.

Rev. Dr. Tom Bryant will hold a graveside service Thursday at 2:00 PM at Fort Hill Memorial Park.

Diuguid Funeral Service and Crematory, Waterlick Chapel (237-2722) is serving the family.
