Willie Wester Oglesby

Willie Wester Oglesby, 93, of Madison Heights, died Wednesday July 11, 2018 at Lynchburg General Hospital.  She was the widow of Frank Stoner Oglesby.

Born in Afton Florida, February 22, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Edward Dewey and Nancy Jewel Wester.  She was a member of Boonsboro United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband she was Preceded in death by; one brother, Elmer Glynn Wester; Four grandchildren, A. C. Martin Jr, Brian Peters, Gina Gentile, and Pamela Gentile.

Mrs. Oglesby is survived by; three daughters, Nancy Oglesby Peters Of Madison Heights, Connie Oglesby Martin of Appomattox, Glenda  Oglesby Gentile of Laurel Springs, NJ; One sister, Mary George of Panama City, FL;  three grandchildren, Michael Martin, Edward Martin, Melissa Gentile, and four great grandchildren.

The Rev. Dr. Monty Fox and Rev. Glenn Coleman will hold a graveside service Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Moneleson Rescue Squad.
