Obituary of Jenny Lynn Tucker

Jenny Salmon Tucker, 59, died Friday, July 21, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Greg, of thirty-four years. Jenny was a long time resident of Timberlake and was employed for many years by Country Kitchen. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her step-mother, Rebecca B. Salmon; siblings, Gwendolyn Salmon Hughes, William Lee Salmon, Robert Brown Salmon, Jo Ellen Salmon Shafer, Vicky Hughes Simpson, James Ryland Hughes III, and Tammy Hughes Brock; father-in-law, Tony Tucker and mother-in-law, Esther Tucker; brother-in-law Phil Tucker and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Austin Salmon, Jr. and her mother, Evelyn Faulkner Harris and her sisters, Robbin Salmon Viar and Patricia Doyle. Jenny will be remembered in a service on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with the Rev. Phil Showers officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Because of her great love of animals, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donation should be made to Lynchburg Humane Society.
