Obituary of Barbara Jean Harvey Davis

Barbara Jean Harvey Davis, 86, of Hot Springs, VA and formerly Lynchburg, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Springs Nursing Center in Hot Springs, VA. She was the widow of the late Norman Willie Davis. Born January 18, 1931 in Lynchburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Pearl Grubbs Harvey. She was a dedicated member of Crosspoint Church in Lynchburg. She is survived by her son, Larry Edward Davis and his wife, Joyce, of Hot Springs, VA; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; Great niece, Kristy and special friends, Marion, Kathleen and Sherry. A funeral service will be held Sunday, July 30, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel with Pastors John Williamson, Theo Griffin and Glen Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service (12:30 to 1:30 PM) at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Allwood Cemetery, Amherst County.
