Obituary of Penny Mason Brooks

Penny Mason Brooks, 58, of Evington, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 17, 2017. She lost her life to cancer here on earth but gained everlasting life in heaven. Penny was a member of Langhorne Chapel Community Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Joyce Mason and her brother-in-law, Johnny Dagenhart. She is survived by her two children, Jason Cyrus and his wife Celia, Katie Dietrich and her husband Bob; three grandchildren, Trevor Johns, Alyssa Cyrus, Ryder Dietrich; one brother, Eddie Mason and his wife Debbie; two sisters, Wanda Dagenhart, Pam Tomlin and her husband Rennie; special friend, Herman Little; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 20th, 2017, at 3:00 pm at Diuguid Funeral Service & Crematory, Waterlick Chapel (434) 237-2722 with the Pastor Dwight Weaver, officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Saturday from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Family will receive friends at the home of Rennie and Pam Tomlin, 4632 Thomas Jefferson Rd.
