Obituary of Alfred Ray Hahn

On the morning of December 9, 2017, as daylight broke on this snow day Alfred Ray "Sonny" Hahn was called to come home while surrounded by his loving family, our heavenly Father sent his angles to bring him to his new home in heaven. Sonny had spent 81 blessed years on this earth that God created for him, now he will spend eternity with his Heavenly Father, his beloved wife and All other loved one's gone before him. Sonny was devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of Marsh Memorial United Methodist Church on Leesville Road in Lynchburg Va. Sonny Hahn is survived by his son C. Ray Hahn, his wife Pamela D. Hahn, granddaughters Raychel and Kelly Hahn. He is also survived by his sister Virginia "Ginny" Hahn Dishman, and her husband Jim Dishman, niece Gwen Loveless, niece Miriam Torian, brother in-law Bob Torian. Sonny was preceded in death by his wife Rose A. Hahn, Father and Mother Carl and Ruby Hahn, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. One can only imagine the family reunion that is going on in Heaven. Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Diuguid Funeral Service & Crematory, Waterlick Chapel (434) 385-8900, with his best friend, Rev. Graham Jarrell, officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make a donation's to Gentle Shepherd Hospice.
